Senior Vice President and Area Manager, Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center
Clausen was named senior vice president and area manager for the Kaiser Permanente Panorama City and Antelope Valley Service Areas in July 2021. She oversees the coordination of operations and patient care at every level. She has 24 years of health care experience, recently holding a leadership position as the chief nurse executive at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center. While facing the many challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, Clausen led her team to achieve the Magnet designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She works within the overall context of the Southern California regional and national strategy to ensure that Kaiser Permanente lives up to its mission of providing high-quality, affordable health care services.
