Mayor, City of Westlake Village
Pearl was elected in 2018 to serve a four-year term on the Westlake Village City Council and reelected last year when he was selected to serve as mayor. After receiving his undergraduate degree from UCLA, Pearl began his focus on public service by serving as a Naval officer. He then earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington. He moved to Westlake Village in 1998 to begin a career in public affairs and advocacy. He is currently the executive director of a nonprofit organization that strives to overcome the housing crisis facing California’s veterans, seniors, low-income families and homeless individuals.
