Subramaniam became dean of the business school at CSUN in 2018. Founded in 1966, the Nazarian College has an enrollment of about 7,000 students, placing it in the top 5% of business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Last fall, the college’s MBA program was ranked No. 18 on University HQ’s list of Best California MBA Schools and Programs. Previously, Subramaniam was accounting department chair and interim dean at the University of Texas at Arlington. Before joining academia, Subramaniam was an engineer for National Semiconductor in Malaysia and was director of the Northeast Minnesota Small Business Development Center and Small Business Institute.
