Chair and Chief Executive, Tutor Perini
Tutor has served as chair of the Sylmar-based civil construction company since 1999 and as chief executive since 2000. The firm recently won a $3 billion contract to build a New York-based prison as part of that region’s effort to shut down Rikers Island. The company also saw $3.8 billion in revenue last year, down 18% from 2021 due in large part to lack of major awards during the pandemic. Tutor holds a BS in finance from USC; he sat on the board of trustees at the university and helped fund two buildings at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.
