Parker has been a business and civic leader in the Valley for almost 30 years. He co-founded Parker Brown in 1994. The company has steadily grown and now is busy building out various medical centers for major health providers from Torrance up to Santa Barbara. Parker is a director of Mission Valley Bank. He is a commissioner on the Los Angeles County Building Rehabilitation and Appeals Board and also a commissioner for the city of Los Angeles on the Innovation and Performance Commission. He has long been involved in the United Chambers of Commerce of the San Fernando Valley and the Valley Economic Alliance.
