Professional testing firm PSI Services has acquired Applied Measurement Professionals, a competitor providing assessment services to government agencies, professional associations and private industry. Terms of the deal between PSI, in Burbank, and Applied Measurement, in Kansas City, Kan. were not disclosed. PSI Chief Executive Steve Tapp said the acquisition supports the company’s expansion and growth plans within core market segments. “By joining forces with AMP, PSI is furthering its commitment to offering the most robust, full service, end-to-end testing solution in the industry,” Tapp said in a prepared statement. PSI provides services that include licensing and certification tests, managerial assessments and pre-hire employment selection to corporations, federal and state government agencies, professional associations and certifying bodies. Clients include national retailer Target Corp., Delta Air Lines, Department Of Homeland Security, U.S. Postal Service, National Association of Legal Assistants and Center for Nursing, Education and Training.
