IHOP has launched a new delivery service at more than 300 U.S. locations through a partnership with on-demand delivery app DoorDash, the Glendale-based restaurant chain announced Tuesday. The partnership comes as IHOP parent company Dine Brands Global Inc. is implementing a comprehensive strategy to return to growth after two years of declining revenues. Dine Brands said it aims to invest heavily in new technology and delivery options to better serve its customers. “Undertaking a national delivery partnership is an exciting new chapter in our story and builds on the foundational work we’ve done on IHOP ‘N GO this past year, including introducing a mobile app, online ordering through IHOP.com and special packaging that preserves the quality of our food for takeout,” said IHOP President Darren Rebelez in statement. Shares of Dine Brands (DIN) fell 71, or 1 percent, on Tuesday to close at $70.55 on the New York Stock Exchange.
