Wesco Renews Rockwell Collins Chemical Contract

Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. has renewed a multi-year agreement to provide chemical management services to aerospace and defense contractor Rockwell Collins Inc. The Valencia aerospace parts supplier will provide the services at 15 Rockwell Collins sites in the U.S. and Mexico and will expand over time to include 12 additional sites internationally. Wesco Aircraft supports customers with its chemical management services with procurement, storage, quality management and regulatory compliance, distribution, waste control and other functions in the supply chain. Rockwell Collins, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, also utilizes Wesco’s proprietary chemical lifecycle management platform to track and report its chemical usage and chemical specifications, including compliance with global export regulations. Declan Grant, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, said Wesco was pleased to continue its 14-year relationship with Rockwell Collings. “Wesco has the expertise, chemical distribution infrastructure and state-of-the-art chemical lifecycle management platform to help customers manage this complex portion of their supply chain,” Grant said in a statement. Shares in Wesco (WAIR) closed down 10 cents, or just less than 1 percent, to $11.60 on the New York Stock Exchange.
