Cherokee Global Brands announced Wednesday the launch of Cherokee-branded apparel and accessories at 80 stores in the Czech Republic. The Sherman Oaks company, which owns a portfolio of apparel brands, now has its products available at Albert supermarkets throughout the country. The launch follows the announcement in April of a licensing agreement with Ahold Czech Republic, parent company of the Albert chain. Products sold under the deal include men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, footwear and accessories. In the connection with the launch, Cherokee will conduct a marketing campaign with social and digital outreach, events and in-store promotions. Cherokee shares closed up 7 cents or less than a percent to $11.11 on the Nasdaq.
