Dine Brands Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Glendale-based restaurant company Dine Brands Global Inc. announced Wednesday that Vance Chang has been named chief financial officer, effective June 14.In his new role, Chang will oversee the company’s recovery trajectory as coronavirus-related operation restrictions ease for restaurants. He most recently served as chief financial officer at Exer Urgent Care in Encino and, prior to that, the wellness company YogaWorks in Culver City.Dine Brands Global is the parent company of the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar and IHOP restaurant chains.Allison Hall, who has served as interim chief financial officer since January, has been appointed senior vice president and chief accounting officer, effective the same day as Chang’s appointment.Shares of Dine Brands Global (DIN) closed Wednesday down $4.96, or 4.94 percent, to $90.06 on the New York Stock Exchange.
