Cheesecake Factory opened its first restaurant in Bahrain on Oct. 29 under a licensing agreement. The Calabasas restaurant company said the new location features imported limestone floors, custom wood columns, hand painted murals and modern lighting that is “as creative and imaginative as the Cheesecake Factory’s extensive menu.” The restaurant is located in Manama, the capital city of the island kingdom in the Persian Gulf. It is the 13th licensed Cheesecake Factory in the Middle East. Shares of Cheescake Factory (CAKE) closed Monday up 15 cents, or a fraction of a percent, to $45.05 on the Nasdaq.
