Former Toyota, BMW Execs Join NetSol Advisory Board

NetSol Technologies Inc. has appointed former Toyota Leasing executive Henry Tolentino and former BMW executive Georg Bauer to its advisory board, the company announced Thursday. The Calabasas firm, which makes software for vehicle and equipment leasing, said its advisory board was recently formed to provide non-binding strategic advice to management. Prior to joining NetSol’s advisory board, Tolentino served as president at Toyota Leasing (Thailand) Co. Ltd. from 2006 to 2014. He spent more than 10 years with Toyota Motor Credit Corp. USA. He began his career in the auto finance industry with General Motors Acceptance Corp. “NetSol is a global leader in providing innovative technology to auto captive finance companies and by asking me to join the company, it further validates the company’s vision to be a thought leader in its space by bringing together industry expertise at the highest level,” Tolentino said in a statement. Tolentino joined the advisory board Sept. 6. He joined Georg Bauer, former BMW Group, Mercedes and Tesla Motors executive, who was appointed Sept. 1. Shares of NetSol (NTWK) closed Friday unchanged at $4.20 on the Nasdaq.
