Troop Real Estate Joins Century 21 Franchise

Troop Real Estate Inc. signs have covered Ventura and Los Angeles counties for nearly three decades. Now, they’ll have an additional name on them. Madison, N.J.-based Realogy Holdings Corp., the parent company of Century 21 Real Estate, has said that the independent residential real estate firm based in Simi Valley has partnered with the Midvale, Utah-based Century 21 Everest Realty Group franchise to become Century 21 Troop Real Estate. Troop has 550 agents and more than 10 offices in the two counties, according to Century 21. Troop Chief Executive Brian Troop founded the firm in 1987. In a statement, Troop said the revitalization and the repositioning of the Century 21 Real Estate brand as innovators combined with the leadership of Century 21 Everest Realty Group helped him make the decision. Combined, Century 21 Troop Real Estate and Century 21 Everest Realty Group have about 1,100 sales associates in 18 offices in California and Utah. Fourteen of them are in California. Realogy Holdings Corp. also franchises out the Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, ERA, Sotheby’s International Realty, and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brands to real estate brokerage businesses.
