$32 Million Land Parcel in Mission Hills Bought by Cemetery Operator

A 28-acre plot of land at 11630 Indian Hills Road has sold for $32 million, according to Los Angeles-based brokerage IREA. IREA Senior Partner Chris Thompson and Partners Clark Everitt and William Everitt represented both sides in the deal. According to CoStar data, Service Corp. International of Houston, Texas, a provider of funeral and cemetery property and services, purchased the real estate from an individual in Arleta named Stephen Zipp. The parcel has about 1.2 million square feet of flat land on the north end of the San Fernando Valley, near the junction of the 5 freeway and the 405 freeway and on the northern end of Sepulveda Boulevard.
