The Los Angeles Kings professional hockey team has reached two agreements in recent months to expand its presence with ice rinks in the Valley. The Kings and the city of Los Angeles signed a deal in October to partner on a $26 million construction project in Reseda that will feature a public ice rink, apartments and retail. And in December, the NHL team and American Sports Entertainment Co. bought Pickwick Ice in Burbank for an undisclosed price.
