Klorman Construction has been selected to construct a parking garage for the 48-unit Mercy Housing Pico-Robertson Affordable Senior Housing Complex in Los Angeles. The garage, which consists of three levels above ground with one subterranean level, will be owned by Omaha-originated Mercy Housing of California and will be utilized by senior citizens at the complex. The 68-stall structure, located at 8862-8876 W. Pico Blvd., will primarily serve residents of the predominantly one-bedroom units and will also be utilized by several local businesses. Woodland Hills-based Klorman will be part of a team consisting of general contractor Dreyfuss Construction and Killefer Flammang Architects of Santa Monica. The company is a design/build general contractor and structural concrete contracting company specializing in complex parking structures, multi-level towers and high-end architectural concrete projects.
