Earlier this month Quixote Studios North Valley opened in Pacoima, adding five soundstages and 20,000 square feet of production offices to the Valley’s entertainment-oriented real estate market. The $25 million project is part of trend as production rental companies and film service firms build new stages or convert existing warehouses into movie studios. And a swath of territory from the East San Fernando Valley north to Santa Clarita offers the best opportunities for this type of development.
