Limoneira Picks Lennar, KB Home for Santa Paula Housing Project

Limoneira Co. will partner with two homebuilders to construct the first homes at the company’s Harvest at Limoneira project. Lennar Corp. and KB Home are among the largest homebuilders in the U.S. The companies will build the first 180 homes at Harvest at Limoneira located along the 126 highway in Santa Paula. Chief Executive Harold Edwards said that Limoneira, an independent lemon grower in Santa Paula, was proud to partner with the homebuilders on the project. “Both builders are very excited about this long-term opportunity based on the development’s well-balanced, comprehensively designed community near the Pacific Ocean,” Edwards said in a statement. Harvest at Limoneira will include 1,500 homes and apartments, a school, a fire station, 100 assisted living units, commercial space, a sports park, an amphitheater, an agricultural preserve and hiking trails. The first phase of the project broke ground in November 2017.
