Seafood restaurant California Fish Grill and coffee shop Drnk/Qwench are the first two tenants at the Shops at Symmetry, a Northridge shopping center set to open in spring 2020. The 16,000-square-foot mall at 19501 Nordhoff Way near the Northridge Fashion Center is being developed by Aliso Viejo-based Shea Properties, which is also building a 431-unit luxury apartment complex called Symmetry Apartments next door. “We are so excited to bring some fresh, new restaurants and retailers to the community,” said Kiril McKee, senior vice president of retail leasing in a statement. “California Fish Grill and Drnk/Qwench are both amazing retailers and will be great additions to the center.” Blake Kaplan and Jaryd Meenach of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. represented Shea Properties in the two leases. Shea Properties owns and operates more than 9,000 apartment units and 4.8 million square feet of commercial space in California, Colorado and Washington.
