Mini Mixed-Use Project Proposed for Woodland Hills

A mini mixed-use development is proposed for a Woodland Hills site that currently hosts a 356-square-foot tailor shop. Van Nuys-based civil engineering and land surveying firm GM Engineering is the applicant with the city of Los Angeles behind the project, according to an Urbanize.LA report. The proposed project, which would rise on the northeast corner of Ventura Boulevard and Glade Avenue at 22055 Ventura Blvd., would consist of a four-story complex with eight units above ground-floor office and retail space. A subterranean structure and a surface lot will accommodate parking. The apartment complex would stand a block south of the former Woodland Hills Post Office, where Amcal is currently constructing a 335-unit multifamily site.
