Multifamily developer Jefferson Properties Inc. has obtained construction financing of $190 million to build Jefferson Vista Canyon, a massive apartment complex project underway in Santa Clarita, according to a CoStar Group report. The firm has financing from Comerica Bank in Dallas and Colony Credit Real Estate of Los Angeles for its 480-unit residential project, an upscale complex already under construction at 17350 Humphreys Parkway. Amenities at the complex will include a pair of fitness centers, resort-style swimming pools, rooftop barbecue deck, speakeasy lounge and a dog park with dog-washing station. The project has a spring 2020 completion date. Irving, Texas-headquartered Jefferson Properties, which has an office in San Diego, already has several Southern California projects in the pipeline, including two others in Santa Clarita Valley, most notably its collaboration with Valencia architects JSB Development on the 185-acre Vista Canyon mixed-use project.
