Simi Industrial Park Breaks Ground

Overton Moore Properties has announced the groundbreaking of a new industrial development in Simi Valley. The four-building project totals about 141,000 square feet, and can accommodate companies looking for space between 30,000 and 42,000 square feet. The buildings feature 26-foot ceilings, 120-foot minimum truck courts and sprinkler systems. Construction is scheduled for completion in April 2017. The project, called the Point, is located within the 87-acre master-planned section of Simi Valley. “Entrepreneurs are looking to locate their enterprises in state-of-the-art buildings in pro-business environments,” said Bennett Robinson, executive vice president at L.A.-based CBRE Group Inc. and listing broker on the project. “Demand for high-quality industrial space in the greater Los Angeles area has been on the rise.” Overton Moore acquired the property from Coca-Cola Co. in October 2015. Based in Los Angeles, Overton Moore is a private development and real estate investment firm. The company announced the ground-breaking Sept. 8.
