Chalvis Evans is managing director of CBRE Group Inc.’s North Los Angeles region, which includes offices in Glendale, Woodland Hills and Oxnard, the real estate brokerage announced Thursday. Evans will oversee more than 160 real estate professionals across the three locations. “Chalvis’ extensive experience in the market, his collaborative strength and his success as a sales professional made him the perfect choice for this leadership role,” Lewis Horne, president of CBRE’s Pacific Southwest region, said in a statement. “We are very excited to have him leading the L.A. North region.” In his new role, Evans will drive the region’s overall strategy and oversee its occupier and investor leasing, investment sales, debt and structured finance, property management and valuations across all property types. Evans joined CBRE in 2015 as senior vice president with a focus on investment sales and tenant representation. During his 20-year career, he has closed more than 700 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $3 billion. Prior to joining the firm, Evans served as senior vice president for Coldwell Banker Commercial at its Pasadena office. “I am honored to have been offered the opportunity to lead this fantastic region,” Evans said in a statement. “It is a very exciting time for our industry and for this area. When you look at all the CBRE press release activity across important markets such as Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and Woodland Hills, the growth and evolution is astounding.”
