Agoura Hills May Score Rams’ Temporary HQ

The Los Angeles Rams are looking to lease office space in Agoura Hills, which would serve as the team’s temporary headquarters until its Inglewood stadium is completed in 2019. The NFL franchise is currently in negotiations with Woodland Hills commercial realtor Realty Bancorp Equities to rent a 50,000-square-foot office at 29899 Agoura Road, according to the Acorn. Rick Principe, chief executive of Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services in Westlake Village, announced that the Rams intended on leasing space in Agoura Hills during an economic forecast breakfast held at California Lutheran University on March 18. Earlier this week, the former St. Louis team filed a proposal with the city of Thousand Oaks to build athletic facilities at Cal Lu, which would operate as the team’s in-season practice site. However, lease agreements for both the Cal Lu facilities and Agoura Hills’ office have not been signed. Deals that have been inked include the decision to make the Rams the home team for a 2018 game in China and its T.V. deal with HBO. The relocated team will be featured on the HBO hit-series “Hard Knocks,” which will follow the Rams through its training camp experience, scheduled to take place at UC Irvine in August.
