Two Valley Apartments Sell for Nearly $6 Million

Two apartment buildings in the San Fernando Valley sold in separate transactions for combined total of nearly $6 million. In North Hollywood, a 10-unit apartment building at 11835 Vanowen St. sold for $3.3 million to CL Davis Properties, according to Calabasas commercial real estate brokerage Marcus & Millichap Inc. The sellers were Azhar and Farah Hameed, according to CoStar Group Inc., and the complex was built in 2011. The buyer is based in Beverly Hills, CoStar said. Katherine Bergh, a vice president with the brokerage, brokered the deal on behalf of the buyer. And in Northridge, Appian Way Development of Los Angeles paid $2.6 million for a 12-unit complex at 18540 Chase St. The one-story building, built in 1959, is a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, and was sold by Chase Street Apartments, according to CoStar The deal was arranged by Brett Sanson, a senior associate with Marcus & Millichap, on behalf of the seller.
