Xebec Realty will build more than 600,000 square feet of industrial buildings on 28 acres of land in Sylmar that the firm purchased last year for $92 million.
According to the Real Deal, the Dallas industrial real estate firm has filed plans to erect a pair of warehouses — 440,000 square feet and 164,000 square feet — on the property with a parking lot to accommodate 410 vehicles.
The new industrial buildings will replace an existing 220,000-square-foot warehouse at the address.
Xebec bought the property at 15825 Roxford St. from L3 Harris Technologies “for land value only,” according to January report by sister publication Los Angeles Business Journal.
It remains unclear what the usage will be for the new structures.Â
