Seib comes from ad agency One Good Man Productions in Glendale; previously, he was a financial executive at DreamWorks Animation, also in Glendale. “Tom’s rare blend of finance, entertainment, theme park and production operations experience is a perfect fit for BRC,” Chief Executive Bob Rogers said in a statement. … Richard Katz has been appointed to the L.A. City Council Redistricting Commission. Katz, a former member of the council who now runs Richard Katz Consulting in Sherman Oaks, told Valley Insider he will work on “maximizing council seats in the Valley.” The 21-person commission will make recommendations for new districts based on Census Bureau data and public input. … Avery Dennison in Glendale has made a $5 million investment in RoadRunner Recycling in Pittsburg, Pa. In conjunction with the investment, Jeroen Diderich, vice president, has joined the RoadRunner board. “We are confident we will find new opportunities to help our customers meet their zero waste-to-landfill goals,” Diderich said in a statement. … E-commerce software developer PlanetArt in Calabasas last month acquired CafePress from Shutterfly. CafePress is a website that sells customizable apparel and home products. “CafePress gives PlanetArt a battle-tested marketplace orientation,” PlanetArt Chief Executive Roger Bloxberg said in a statement … West Hills Hospital has appointed Dr. Donald David as its new chief medical officer. David, a gastroenterologist, will oversee the hospital’s regulatory compliance, patient safety, physician relations and program development. David was born at West Hills Hospital, staff told the Business Journal, and he and his family live in West Hills.
