Walt Disney Co. has reconfigured its leadership ranks as its executives have taken top jobs. First, Disney Chief Executive Robert Chapek ascended to the position earlier this year by vacating his chair atop the Parks, Experiences and Products division; Josh D’Amaro will now fill that role. D’Amaro, who previously ran Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, will handle the Burbank company’s theme parks, cruise line, retail and consumer licensing operations. Meanwhile, Rebecca Campbell was promoted to chair the Direct-to-Consumer and International operation, which has responsibility for the new Disney+ streaming service. Campbell succeeds longtime Disney executive Kevin Mayer, who left the company to become chief executive at TikTok, a short-form video website. “Both Josh and Rebecca have more than two decades of leadership experience,” Chapek said in a statement. “Our company is very fortunate to have a deep bench of talent and we’re extremely pleased to welcome these two exceptionally qualified Disney veterans to our senior management team.” … Tim Martin, chief financial officer at Guitar Center in Westlake Village, has reworked the company’s debt payments through a series of deals with the instrument retailer’s lenders. “These transactions bolster our immediate liquidity position and allow us to focus on operating our business through these difficult times,” Martin said in a statement. … Sherman Oaks-based Derek Butler has become a financial advisor with Waddell & Reed Inc. Butler previously worked at HD Vest. … American Homes 4 Rent has named Megan Grabos senior vice president of communications. She will oversee corporate communications, media relations, employee communications, crisis management and financial communications. She previously worked at Delta Dental of California and Cars.com. David Singelyn, chief executive at the Agoura Hills real estate company, said Grabos brings “a clear vision for how we can expand our activities to communicate more effectively as an industry leader.” … Samir Shah at NDS, a supplier of stormwater and irrigation management services in Woodland Hills, is the new president of parent company Norma Group’s water division.
