Camarillo-based Scent Away, a national retailer of animal deodorizers, announced this month its latest line of barnyard animal deodorizers.Â
The full line of all-natural and fragrance-free products includes three new categories now available on Scent Away’s website: Chicken Coop, Swine Stall and Horse Stall Deodorizers.Â
“With the strong success of our pet litter deodorizers, we’re excited to now expand the Scent Away product line to serve barnyard animal owners,” Jeff Norton, vice president of business development for Scent Away, said in a statement announcing the launch. “We’ve received tremendous feedback from customers on Scent Away’s product effectiveness. This along with a growing desire among pet and barnyard animal owners for eco-friendly products, we felt the time was right to significantly expand the Sent Away line.”
Scent Away is a blend of natural Zeolite, a common animal litter ingredient, and active carbon that is designed to absorb moisture and maximize odor elimination. The latest line of products are designed to use for complete coop or stall cleanouts as well as daily spot maintenance and help naturally eliminate animal waste odors, reduce moisture and extend bedding life, as well as improve pest control.
Other Scent Away products include cat litter and hamster bedding materials, ranging in price from $10.99 to $89.99 depending on the volume of deodorizer. The Scent Away deodorizers for barnyard creatures will be priced at $59.99 for a 25-pound supply, bringing the company to a total of five different deodorizing product options. Monthly subscription options are available for each product, or they can be purchased on their own.Â
The deodorizing products are created through an environmentally friendly process that converts plant waste into both clean energy and biocarbon, according to a Scent Away statement. The carbon in this plant waste, which would have been otherwise released into the atmosphere, is effectively captured in the active biocarbon. As a result, Scent Away claims its products help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
