Rams to Meet Media at CLU on Friday

The Super Bowl-bound Los Angeles Rams have scheduled a media availability session Friday afternoon at California Lutheran University’s William Rolland Stadium.

A university spokeswoman said the event will feature the head coach, Sean McVay; the quarterback, Matthew Stafford, and eight additional players. It is to be the football team’s only in-person media availability event leading up to the Super Bowl on Sunday. The session will run from 1:45-2:30 p.m. Friday.

“Cal Lutheran is proud to have the university’s William Rolland Stadium serve as the venue for the L.A. Rams Super Bowl Media Day on Friday,” said Lori E. Varlotta, president of the university. “We look forward to hosting journalists from around the world on our beautiful campus in Thousand Oaks as we cheer on our hometown team.”

The Rams have had a practice facility at Cal Lutheran since moving to Los Angeles from St. Louis in 2016. The team’s corporate office is in Agoura Hills.

The football team held a fan rally Monday evening at Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village.

The Rams’ opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals, are holding their media availability day at UCLA.
