The San Fernando Valley Business Journal won first place in two categories at the 2014 SoCal Journalism Awards, presented June 29 by the Los Angeles Press Club. It appeared on the cover of the April 13, 2013 edition. Madler’s “Byte-Sized Revolution,” about the transition to digital technology in the post-production sector of the film industry, placed second in the entertainment feature category. It was published in the May 27, 2013 issue. The Business Journal’s sister publication, Los Angeles Business Journal, also won several L.A. Press Club Awards.
