“A Healthier Future” is the theme of Kaiser Permanente’s 2022 Rose Parade float, which will honor the dedication displayed by health care workers in the last two years.
In the Valley region, Kaiser has major health facilities in Woodland Hills, Panorama City and the Antelope Valley. The float will travel the route of the parade on Jan. 1 in Pasadena.
The float features four children contemplating, exploring and dreaming about making a difference through health care. One is reading a book, another has a stethoscope, a third has a telescope and another child is in a lab coat. The children collectively represent health care innovators, researchers, nurses and doctors and the students of Kaiser Permanente’s Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine in Pasadena.
“We at Kaiser Permanente are committed to contributing to a world where all people and communities thrive, and everyone has what they need to live a healthy, joyful life,” Greg Adams, Kaiser’s chief executive, said in a statement.
