Cast & Crew Buys German Software Firm

Cast & Crew Entertainment Services in Burbank has acquired LeBog Software GmbH, the developer of a purchase order product. Financial terms of the deal between Cast & Crew in Burbank and LeBog in Berlin were not disclosed. LeBog is the developer of Digital Purchase Order, a software designed specifically for the entertainment industry to simplify and modernize the traditional purchase order workflow, the company said in a release. Cast & Crew will integrate DPO into its PSL+ production accounting software that enables productions to track their daily costs and pay vendors for services. John Berkley, chief executive of Cast & Crew, said that DPO is a solution that will help take the production experience to new heights. “It’s a truly remarkable product that makes it easy to create and approve purchase orders from anywhere and at any time – in a paperless and automated manner,” Berkley said in a statement. LeBog will continue to operate out of its current offices in Berlin.
