Capital Inflow at Repipe Specialists

 Burbank-based Repipe Specialists has been acquired. 

Gryphon Investors, a San Francisco-based middle-market private equity firm, has bought the company in partnership with Repipe’s owner and founder Jeff Butler, who will remain a significant shareholder. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

Founded in 1991, Repipe is a home services company that gives lead generation, customer qualification, sold projects, training and billings to plumbing companies providing re-piping services for single and multifamily customers. Repipe increases the revenues of its plumbing partners by focusing on non-plumbing aspects of the projects to enable them to focus on their core competencies. 

Repipe works as a marketing agency for plumbers in 10 states currently and plans to expand into additional regions under its partnership with Gryphon.
