Classic sitcoms, cartoons and hour-long dramas will be among the offerings from In2TV, the new broadband television network from Warner Bros. and AOL. The programming will be available free of charge on demand through AOL.com. “In2TV begins to open up the potential of Web-based TV by putting the viewer in charge of their own TV schedule online,” Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group President Kevin Tsujihara said. The shows are organized into six genre-themed channels, with comedies such as “Welcome Back, Kotter” and “Alice” on LOL TV; science fiction and horror shows on Heroes and Horrors TV; cartoons on Toon Topia TV; and 1960s and 1970s shows on Vintage TV. Two additional channels are scheduled to be launched in the summer. In2TV will also feature quizzes, puzzles, photo galleries and polls connected to the various shows. Burbank-based Warner Bros. and AOL are owned by Time Warner Inc.
