Banking Wells Fargo has named Shaun Sarksissian business area manager for the San Fernando Valley region. Based in Encino, Sarkissian will oversee the business banking specialists in Wells Fargo’s 55 banking outlets in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. Sarkissian has been with Wells Fargo for 16 years; most recently serving as business area manager for the Pacific Coast region. He formerly was store manager for Warner Ranch, Canoga Park and North Hollywood branches. Entertainment Peter Isacksen has been appointed a president of the Alan Ett Creative Group of Studio City. He will be leading all marketing and development for newdance, a new division of AECG focusing on developing concepts for strategic partnerships uniting brands and companies with proprietary intellectual property. Additionally, Isacksen, who was co-creator and executive-producer of the award-winning TBS microseries Lovebites, is developing several new short format series for newdance. Goldberg earned an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s in economics from Northwestern University. Healthcare U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group of Valencia has appointed A. David Matian, DO as managing physician of the Van Nuys medical center. Licensed nurse and Panorama City resident Jhoanna Ramos has joined the OakView’s health center at continuing care community University Village in Thousand Oaks as director of nursing. Suresh Nihalani has been appointed to the board of directors of Glendale-based Apollo Medical Holdings. In 1987, Nihalani co-founded ACT Networks which became the fourth-largest provider of integrated frame relay access solutions. In 1996, he founded Accelerated Networks, leading the company to a successful IPO on the NASDAQ in 2000. Most recently, he was CEO of Omnilux. Tri-anim, a provider of specialty sales and distribution solutions for healthcare, announced today that Rob Bahna has been promoted to national director of surgical sales. Non-Profit Chuck Gersdorf, president of St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo, has joined the board of the Economic Development Collaborative Ventura County, replacing Jerry Conway. A Camarillo resident, Gersdorf has a master’s degree in public health/hospital administration from the University of Missouri and has 32 years of experience in the field of hospital administration. Real Estate Stephen J. Geiger has joined Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura Inc., as a Senior Vice President specializing in investment properties. Based in the Calabasas office, Geiger will focus on multi-family acquisitions and divestitures. He previously served as Regional Manager for Hanes Co. Encino-based Investment Real Estates Associates (IREA) has added two brokers to its roster: Ron Norman, a 25-year veteran who spent most of his career with Marcus & Millichap, and Glenn Jost joins IREA from Re/Max where for the past three years he was ranked as one of their top five agents. Technology Logicube Inc. has appointed Gabi Abraham as Chief Technologist. Abraham most recently was system architect at Strix Systems Inc. where he was responsible for designing the architectures for their wireless mesh networking products. Prior to joining Strix, he designed and defined robust architectures for DSL products at Lucent Technologies. CreditReport.com in Canoga Park has hired Bruce Cornelius to be chief marketing officer. Cornelius recently received a Market Bridge Award for his work using web-based technologies to bridge the gap between consumers and financial institutions. QualityLogic announced Dave Jollota’s appointment as president and CEO. He will be replacing the retiring James Mater who has worn both hats since 2001. Mater will remain an active member of the Moorpark company’s board of directors. The company also said that Steven Butterfield has been appointed chairman of QualityLogic’s board. He has been a director since February 2006. Butterfield is an imaging industry veteran with extensive leadership experience.
