iPhotoMeasure received $400,000 in funding for testing and development of its measurement-by-photo software, the company announced. The Tarzana-based company received the money over a two year period from undisclosed private sources. The money helped in testing and development of the first two versions of its software, said company CEO Paul Minor. Using digital photographs, users of the software can make measurements of rooms and objects that are 99 percent accurate. “With the research and data we have received from users, we are confident that version three will be our most successful release yet,” Minor said. iPhotoMeasure software is used in the construction, real estate and entertainment industries, and by police agencies for crime scene investigation.
