Banking & Finance Louis Sulpizio has joined Heller Commercial Services in Glendale as senior vice president. He will focus on developing client relationships and new business opportunities in the Western United States. Sulpizio was previously with Congress Talcott Corp. Entertainment Mark Ansorge [piclanm6-14] has been promoted to vice president and associate counsel for Warner Music Group in Burbank. He will focus on acquisitions, new-media matters and executive employment agreements. Ansorge was most recently associate counsel. Rick Ramirez [piclanm6-14] has been named to the new post of vice president of Phil Roman Entertainment Co. in Studio City. His responsibilities will include business affairs, financing and development, as well as general management responsibilities. Ramirez was most recently a producer for Galavisi & #243;n. Health Care Jorge Dominicis has been named vice president of the individual and small-business group for HealthNet in Woodland Hills. He is responsible for development, administration and management of sales and administration. Dominicis was most recently director of small group and individual business for Prudential HealthCare. Hospitality Reza Khan was promoted to director of sales and marketing for the Airtel Plaza Hotel at Van Nuys Airport. Khan has been director of rooms since 1990. Investigations Raymond O’Hara [piclanm6-14] has been named vice president of Pinkerton’s Inc.’s consulting and investigations division for the Western U.S. in Westlake Village. He will oversee division operations throughout California. O’Hara was corporate security manager for Weyerhaeuser Co. for 14 years. Media Ali Rashid [piclanm6-14] was promoted to senior vice president of operations of Weider Publications in Woodland Hills. He will manage human resources, facilities/risk management, and oversee sales operations, production and budgeting and planning for the company. Rashid was most recently vice president of finance and administration. Also, Thomas Deters was promoted to publisher and editorial director of the men’s and endemic groups. He was most recently senior vice president and group publisher and editorial director. In addition, Bobbi Gutman was promoted to executive vice president of consumer marketing and business development. She will lead efforts in developing new business opportunities. New Media Scott Darling was appointed vice president of business development and professional services for Sandpiper in Thousand Oaks. His responsibilities will include managing the new professional services group. Darling previously worked at MCI/Systemhouse as a managing director. Joshua Benegal Marks was appointed president and chief operating officer of Virtualis Systems Inc. in Studio City. He will manage the development of proprietary site management and e-commerce software. Marks was previously a director with the firm. Mary Nelson Garrett has been promoted to director of investor relations at THQ Inc. in Calabasas. Garrett was most recently director of finance. Real Estate Robert Evans has been named vice president and senior appraiser for Gribin, Kapadia & Associates in Woodland Hills. He will focus on health care, high tech and corporate consulting, and real property valuations. Evans has appraised property in Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and Colorado. Cathy Hamilton has been promoted to regional operations manager of the Sacramento region for the Voit Cos. in Woodland Hills. She will focus on overseeing the management of the 1.5 million-square-foot Sacramento-area portfolio, as well as all new-business development in the region. Hamilton was most recently a property manager and a director of marketing. James Suhr has joined Valencia Commercial Properties as vice president. Suhr will be responsible for office marketing, development, leasing and land sale programs. Suhr was previously director of asset strategy at Walt Disney Imagineering.
