Banking & Finance James Bradley has been appointed vice president of the San Gabriel branch of Comerica Bank-California. He will be responsible for managing and developing middle-market business. Bradley was formerly vice president and commercial banking officer of Sanwa Bank California in Rosemead. Defense Evans Hineman has been promoted to group vice president for intelligence of Litton Information Systems Group in Woodland Hills. He will oversee business activities with the intelligence community. Hineman was previously a corporate vice president. Education Lisa Porch & #233;-Burke was named president of Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino. She will be involved in developing new program initiatives. Porch & #233;-Burke was previously chancellor of the California School for Professional Psychology. Entertainment Dexter Fedor has been promoted to senior vice president of global creative development for Disney Consumer Products in Burbank. Fedor was most recently vice president of the division. Also, Salil Mehta has been promoted to senior vice president of strategic planning and development for Walt Disney Co. He will be responsible for developing new online businesses. Mehta has been with the company since 1994. Also, Laurie Beja Miller was named senior vice president and merchandise manager of The Disney Store North America in Glendale. Miller was previously vice president of product development for attractions and merchandise for Walt Disney World. In addition, Steve Winslow was named senior vice president of finance and business development for The Disney Store Worldwide. Winslow was previously chief financial officer of for Star Markets Inc. in Boston. Barry Meyer was appointed chairman and chief executive officer of Warner Bros. in Burbank. He was previously chief operating officer and executive vice president. Also, Alan Horn was named president and chief operating officer. He was most recently chairman and chief executive officer of Castle Rock Entertainment. Glen Morgan and Jim Wong have signed a multi-year deal with DreamWorks Television and NBC Studios in Universal City. They will executive produce “The Others” and develop additional series. Morgan and Wong were co-executive producers of “The X-Files” and “Millennium.” Linda Ross was promoted to senior vice president of finance and administration for Hamdon Entertainment in Studio City. She will oversee financial and administrative activities. Ross was most recently vice president of finance. Health Care E. Lewis Reid was elected president and chief executive officer of the California Endowment in Woodland Hills. Reid has been acting chief executive for the past nine months, restructuring the foundation’s staff and investment strategies. Reid was formerly an attorney, specializing in representing charitable organizations. Pamela Steckroat has been named chief marketing officer at Health Net in Woodland Hills. She will be responsible for marketing, advertising, business development and new product development. Steckroat was most recently a principal at the Bond Group. Also, Stephen Puente was named vice president of human resources. He previously owned his own business, Puente HR Consulting. High Tech Michael Ambrose was named vice president of engineering for Interlink Electronics Inc. in Camarillo. He will be responsible for engineering and product development. Ambrose was previously with Communication Intelligence Corp. Hospitality Laura Paschen Hontas has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City. She will oversee the catering and sales staff, revenue management department, and advertising and public relations functions. Hontas was previously with the Doubletree Hotel in Marina del Rey. New Media Bill Brown has been appointed chief operating officer of HomeBuilder.com in Thousand Oaks. He will focus on integrating business strategies. Brown was formerly global director of business information development at Kellogg Co. Jeff Charney was named vice president of corporate marketing and communications with HomeStore.com. He will be responsible for corporate branding, messaging, public relations, internal communications and advertising programs. Charney was most recently senior vice president for marketing and communications at Kaufman and Broad Home Corp. Retail Craig Levra was appointed chief executive officer of Sport Chalet Inc. in La Canada Flintridge. Levra was previously president and chief operating officer and will retain the title and duties of president.
