Entertainment Cynthia C. Cleveland has been appointed president of Universal Studios Consumer Products Group. She will be responsible for the growth of the company’s consumer products global strategy across all Universal divisions. She previously was president of merchandising and licensing for the group. Robert N. Brisco has been named president of the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park, Universal Studios CityWalk and Universal City Cinemas. Brisco will be responsible for operations, finance, marketing, sales, strategic planning, entertainment and food service. He previously was senior vice president of advertising, marketing and new business development at the Los Angeles Times. Ruth Crowley-Jacinto has been named senior vice president of merchandising for the Universal Studios Recreation Group. She will be responsible for merchandising, product development, retail operations, and strategic and financial planning for all of Universal’s theme park stores. She previously served as vice president, merchandise for Host Marriott Services Corp. Michael Lang has been appointed vice president, business development, marketing and sales of DisneyQuest for Burbank-based Disney Regional Entertainment. Lang will continue to be responsible for business development, finance and real estate for the DisneyQuest project. In addition, he will now oversee the marketing and sales teams. He previously was director of business affairs for DisneyQuest. Tom O’Brien has been promoted to director of standards and practices at the Disney Channel. He will be responsible for ensuring that all Disney Channel and Toon Disney programming reflects the tastes and sensibilities of today’s kids and families. Prior to joining, O’Brien worked in episodic television. Daliah Rogow has been promoted to vice president of production for Studio City-based Carsey-Werner Co. She will continue to be responsible for day-to-day production management of Carsey-Werner’s slate of network television programs. Rogow previously was a production executive. In addition, Dan Weiss has been promoted to senior vice president of creative services with Carsey-Werner Distribution. He will be responsible for all advertising and promotion. Weiss previously was vice president of creative services. High Tech Cliff Johnson has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Coyote Technologies at Westlake Village-based Coyote Network Systems Inc. He will manage Coyote Technologies’ day-to-day operations and help plan the company’s strategic direction. Ralph Montelius has joined Woodland Hills-based Mainsaver as vice president of customer services. He will oversee the company’s customer service, data services and training departments. Montelius previously served as vice president and general manager at Triad Systems Corp. Denis Richard has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Woodland Hills-based Incomnet Inc. Richard previously was vice president of law & corporate affairs at Teleglobe International Corp. Charles Wilson has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing worldwide at Valencia-based 3D Systems Corp. Wilson previously was president and chief executive officer of Axil Computer Inc., a subsidiary of Hyundai Electronics America. Hospitality Terry Alder has been named general manager of the Woodland Hills-based Warner Center Marriott. Alder previously was general manager at the Phoenix Embassy Suites. Pat Trammell has been appointed director of sales and marketing for the Hyatt Valencia. She will be responsible for the overall management of the sales and marketing division of the hotel and conference center. Prior to joining, Trammell was director of sales and marketing for Hyatt Regency Greenville in South Carolina. Personnel Dan Williams has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager of Lee Hecht Harrison’s Woodland Hills office. Williams will be responsible for marketing, sales and delivery of career services to organizations in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County. He previously was general manager for Brink’s Home Security in Los Angeles and Riverside. In addition, Alex Wilson has been appointed senior consultant in the Woodland Hills office of Lee Hecht Harrison. He will provide specialized service to senior executives in the Signature program. Real Estate Michael S. Adler has joined Granada Hills-based Tuesday Group LLC as a member. Adler will analyze, evaluate and underwrite property and note acquisitions. He will also maintain his partnership at Sommer, Adler & Co. Joseph D’Amore joins Lee & Associates’ Sherman Oaks office as a principal. He previously was with Ramsey Shilling Co.
