A 3.1 magnitude earthquake jolted the San Fernando Valley on Monday afternoon. The quake occurring at about 12:30 p.m. was centered two miles northeast of Granada Hills and at a depth of eight miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. There were no reports of injuries or damage to buildings or roadways.
