NBC Universal television shows and films were added in the lineup available to passengers through the in-flight entertainment system on Virgin America. The start-up airline already signed deals for content from 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, The Walt Disney Co. and Warner Bros. to be shown on flights. Virgin America’s Red in-flight entertainment system offers pay-per-view movies, live television via satellite, audio music and electronic games. “NBC Universals’ creativity and large library of content fits perfectly in the Red experience,” said Charles Ogilvie, Virgin America’s Director of Inflight Entertainment and Partnerships.
