Payment of legal fees related to litigation led Homestore Inc. to report a $4.6 million loss, or $ 0.03 per share, on revenues of $66.6 million in the fourth quarter. That compares with a profit of $6 million, or $0.04 per share, on revenues of $54.3 million in the same period the previous year. For the full year 2005, the company earned $234,000, or $0.00 per share on revenues of $252.6 million, compared with a loss of $7.9 million, or $0.06 per share, on revenues of $216.9 million the previous year. The fourth-quarter loss reflected legal expenses of $5.9 million in a settlement with a former officer; and $1.8 million to settle a lawsuit. Homestore, Inc. announced last month that it would change its name to Move, Inc. during the second quarter of 2006.
