A veteran healthcare administrator from the Pacific Northwest has been named chief executive of Glendale Adventist Medical Center. Morre Dean will take over as president and CEO of the facility Jan. 1, replacing Scott Reiner, who was promoted to senior vice president of parent company Adventist Health. Dean is president and CEO of Walla Walla General Hospital, an Adventist Health facility in Walla Walla, Wash., where for over seven years he has supervised a $4 million financial turnaround and construction of a $20 million retirement center. He has also served as vice president for Porter and Littleton Adventist hospitals in Denver and in management positions at Florida Hospital in Orlando.
