Company Adds Paper Option to ‘Paperless’ Product Line

Already selling multiple-state electronic tax-filing services, Newbury Park-based efileSalesTax.com announced it is now offering a paper-filing option, which it hopes will increase its market presence. With the company’s software, customers choose e-file or paper-file, and then enter their sales and deductions. The efileSalesTax.com system calculates the sales tax, checks for common errors, and if customers choose to paper file, the system generates a state-approved official sales tax form. The taxpayer then prints, signs and mails the completed sales tax form. “We’ve always been an e-filing service, but our users have told us they also need a paper-file option. Now, we have the best of both worlds,” said Ramon Rochin, CFO, efileSalesTax.com. EfileSalesTax.com also offers customers archival access to past tax years, as well as QuickBooks interactivity.
