Cal Lutheran Receives Record Gift

California Lutheran University said today that it has received the largest cash contribution in its history. Jack Gilbert, chairman of TOLD Corp. donated $5 million to the Thousand Oaks based university to go to the construction of a president’s residence and other campus enhancements. The university’s sports and fitness center will bear the Gilbert name as a result of a prior $4 million contribution for the construction of the building.
