PALMDALE – Water supplies from the California Aqueduct will be scant in 2009: Everyone in the industry agrees. Water suppliers such as the staff at Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency, a wholesaler, speculate that the allocation from the State Water Project could run as low as 10% or possibly less given existing climatic conditions, including the two-year drought.
