A subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc. received a $15 million military contract to develop infrared sensor missile warning and defense applications, the Thousand Oaks-based company announced. The HIGH STARE program from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory leverages products from Camarillo-based Teledyne Imaging Sensors used to develop large physical size detectors needed for the program, said Teledyne Chairman, President and CEO Robert Mehrabian.
