Citrus cooperative Sunkist reported 2006 revenues of $1.1 billion, marking the best year ever for the Sherman Oaks group. Orange, lemon and grapefruit also reported new records, and the company marketed 600 different products in 50 countries for the year. Valencia oranges experienced the best growing season in a decade, the company reported. Licensed products also neared $1.4 billion. The increases did not reflect the widespread crop losses from the latest West Coast freeze, which reached its peak in early January.
