Salem Media Group Inc. announced Thursday that Trish Regan will join the lineup of the Salem Podcast Network starting June 15.Regan is most well known as the host of her primetime show on Fox Business Network. She also has hosted shows on Bloomberg TV, CNBC and CBS Television.“I am thrilled to enter into a partnership with Salem Media,” Regan said in a statement. “Salem is an organization with real leadership and a management team that stands up for American values including — most importantly — our First Amendment.”Salem, the Camarillo Christian and conservative radio broadcaster, publisher and online content distributor, launched its podcast network in January and it has grown to more than 2.5 million weekly downloads, according to a statement from the company.The Trish Regan Podcast will be her take on the day’s news events. Her understanding of Wall Street and the economy will be an added plus for her listeners, the broadcaster’s statement said.Shares of Salem (SALM) closed up 1 cent, or a fraction of a percent, to $2.59 on the Nasdaq, on a day when that market closed down 1 percent.
